About TEDˣ
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx ISF Youth, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDx ISF Youth event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.
About TED
TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, often in the form of short talks delivered by leading thinkers and doers. Many of these talks are given at TED Conferences, intimate TED Salons, and thousands of independently organized TEDx events around the world. Our innovative advertising campaigns have been key in spreading the word and building excitement within our community. A core part of our journey has been working hand-in-hand with our incredible speakers, fine-tuning each talk to ensure they are both impactful and memorable. Every step, from logistics to the final presentation, has been handled with utmost care and professionalism. Our Speakers
Looking ahead to the TEDx event at our school it's incredibly important to recognize and appreciate the dedication and hard work put in by our speakers as they prepare and finalize their speeches. The journey, toward the TEDx stage, goes beyond delivering a presentation; it's a testament to weeks if not months, of intensive research, practice, and commitment. From the beginning, our speakers arrived with an abundance of ideas that were then carefully shaped into captivating talks through collaborative brainstorming and refinement. As we progressed through drafting and rehearsing there was a sense of community spirit and shared purpose. Challenges like refining concepts or overcoming speaking nerves were met with unwavering support and encouragement from everyone involved. The final touches being made to these speeches now nearly ready for the stage serve as a testament, to this blend of brilliance complemented by collaborative teamwork. As we approach the event every speaker, supported by a team is prepared not to deliver a presentation but also to share a narrative that has been nurtured and treasured by a community brought together by their enthusiasm, for valuable ideas.Our speakers have provided short biographies to give an insight into who they are:
